Welcome to the band area of Midas Factory.
After an interval of abstinence, Midas Factory is back. Started in 1988, the band regrouped in late 2004. From the outset, the band sought for inspiration in the realm of dark wave, somewhere between The Cure, And Also
the Trees, Joy Division and Nick Cave. Though heavily influenced by the above mentioned, the band's creativity
never sank down to copying and recombining elements of other people's music.
Midas Factory has remained faithful to their original style. The sound has become harder, and the songs'
arrangements have gained in straightforwardness, having become more concise and compact than before. Contrasting
a dynamic and forceful rhythm with mellow guitars and impressive melodies, Midas Factory creates a unique atmosphere
of sombre, melancholic guitars and hard wave sounds
